Lovely base for 1 night with efficient and competent staff who had obviously finished their shift. Having iron/ironing board, a work desk and a TV set in our recently refurbished and airy room. Plenty of satisfactory breakfast items to choose from.

The highlight was the delicious food. This hotel was set in a central area not far from the beach, Royal Troon for golf, and the restaurant at 8.

This place is cosy and beautifully designed, with great beach views, clean beds in our suite, lovely breakfast, and a wide array of goodies.

Overall, South Beach Hotel in Troon offers a fantastic experience with its great location near the beach and dunes, tasty breakfast, and easy access to restaurants and the town center.

The units are brand-new and good-sized with a lovely view towards Ailsa Craig. the hotel is set in a central location adjacent to the back garden with outside tables, offering views of the South Ayrshire coast, and is close to the station and town centre.

Stayed for 4 nights in mid November on a bed and breakfast basis. The warm and professional greeting upon arrival was a fantastic start. Our room was well-equipped with a hair dryer and tea and coffee facilities. The clean and tidy bathroom had a good selection of toiletries. The hotel's public areas were clean and fresh. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The highlight was the incredible Scottish breakfast, the best I've ever had anywhere. a wonderful hotel experience that I would highly recommend.

The units are spotless and newly decorated. They have access to the garden through double patio doors. the outdoor bar serves hot drinks and offers very good service.

I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of this place, and the staff here were really patient and helpful, even though they had probably been working all day. The room I booked had absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean.
